The new SOL for skilled migration came into effect on 1 July 2010. The new SOL uses the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) in place of the old ASCO codes in use prior to 1 July 2010.
The new SOL also includes separate lists for Skilled migration, Employer Sponsored Migration and Transitional arrangements for those eligible applicants.
